In the real-world event that you forget to charge your A15 battery, you don't want to be stuck without any communications. This battery case takes 6 AA batteries and will power your A15. Be advised that this case will add around 4cm to the length of your radio.
The BP-261 also will fit the previous model Icom A14 Handheld transceiver.
