FAQ

Are your staff qualified pilots?
Our founder Kevin Limon started flying Tiger Moths in the early days before establishing Skylines. Kevin continued to fly his own aircrafts for many years, enjoying trips around Australia with his grandson Alex. Unfortunately Kevin eventually lost his medical. Kevin's son Ron also flew before shifting his focus to taking over Skylines once Kevin retired.

Alex (Ron’s son, Kevin’s grandson) worked at Skylines while undertaking his flight training. Alex then embarked on his aviation career working for years in general aviation, flying a wide range of different aircrafts all over Australia and internationally.

Alex not only gained  those much needed hours but also incredible life experience. Starting out on a Cessna 172 flying passengers on scenic flights over Wineglass Bay in Tasmania to flying organs in King Air's and Citation Jets to Indonesia. Alex is now currently flying internationally for a major Australian airline. Flying is certainly in the blood of the Limon family so when your customers are pilots, we can relate.

How many years has Skylines been in business for?

Skylines has been in business for over 30 years. Australian owned and operated since 1988. Skylines is still today under the same ownership and still owned and operated by the same family.
